When Juuso Vuorinen, a software design teacher from Ideal Learning Oy, began to search for an alternative for self-developed accounting software and DIY bookkeeping, he didn’t need to look very far for an good provider.
Vuorinen had heard that Teemu Suoniemi and Niilo Järkäs were setting up a new accounting firm to Kaleva with Jarno Lahtinen. Jarno’s design light company Fosto was also moving into that same office.
Vuorinen sent a message to Teemu Suoniemi, the CEO of Kaleva, at the end of 2023 and after a few weeks, accounting was rolling smoothly with Fennoa software. With just a couple of e-mails the entire thing was set up and Vuorinen had even more time to focus on planning and actually teaching.
“This (own accounting software) has been more or less a ‘I did it myself and saved money’ project, says Vuorinen and laughs. “Softwares made with different coding languages, like that web-based accounting software, will work as an excellent teaching material, so not a row has gone to waste. “Also, creating softwares has been a fun hobby of mine for over 40 years”, Vuorinen adds.
According to Vuorinen, communicating with the team at Kaleva has worked very well. The communication has been firm and professional which is demonstrated by the fact that each email from each side is understood once. “I particularly enjoy this ‘on time and on point‘ mentality from the team at Kaleva.”
“Nothing is as frustrating as making sense of unclear emails and other dilly-dallying. If I’ve ever had a question, the phone has been answered right away and things have been solved with just one phone call”, explains Juuso.
”Every small business owner deserves to get their accounts balanced with as little effort as possible, and with Kaleva, if anyone, that is done.
, Juuso concludes.
